Big Red Robe Da Hong Pao
This is one of the most famous, oldest and highly prized dark oolongs in China. It is grown in the Wu Yi Mountains in Fujian Province. Shrouded in myth and legend, this rare classic is heavily oxidized and made with great skill. The long twisted dragon-like leaves yield a rich red infusion with a distinguished mineral character and warm woody aroma. The intriguing liquor is sweet and well-balanced revealing delicate floral and spicy notes.
Full-bodied with complex notes of ripe apricot and mild spice with a slight smoky aftertaste.
