Matcha has been enjoyed in Japan for centuries and remains at the heart of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Today, it is loved for its distinctive flavour, versatility and naturally energising character.
Enjoy it whisked traditionally with water, made into a creamy matcha latte or poured over ice for a refreshing lift.

How to Make Matcha
- Add 3g of matcha powder to a wide cup or traditional matcha bowl.
- Pour over 100ml of fresh water heated to approximately 70°C.
- Whisk briskly using a bamboo whisk or mini electric milk frother until smooth and lightly frothy.
- Enjoy as it is, or top with your favourite hot or cold milk to create a matcha latte.
Our Tip
For the smoothest drink, sieve the matcha powder before whisking.
Avoid boiling water, as this can overpower the matcha’s natural sweetness and create unnecessary bitterness.
Use a quick zigzag whisking motion rather than stirring in circles to create a light, even froth.
Smooth, vibrant and wonderfully versatile, it is a brilliant way to bring a little calm energy into your day.
